Craig Cohen, DMD
Trustee
Craig has been a resident of the Upper Valley since 1983 and practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery in Lebanon and New London until his retirement in 2016. He is a graduate of Cornell University and received his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he did a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT. Upon relocating to NH, he was a member of the surgical staffs of APD Memorial Hospital, Valley Regional Hospital, New London Hospital, and the White River VA Hospital. He is a past-president of APD’s medical staff and of the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Craig began volunteering evenings at the nascent Red Logan Dental Clinic in Dr. Robert Keene’s office and continued after the clinic moved to its present home in White River Junction. After retirement, he became the dental director of the clinic until a full-time replacement could be found, and he continued to be active in a teaching role for the dental externs. As a board member of the clinic’s parent organization, Craig is in a position to give insight into health care from the dental perspective.
Craig is an avid cyclist and loves photography and travel. He has combined these passions into tandem cycling trips with his wife, Jeri, all over the world. Nordic skiing replaces cycling in the winter with travel filling in the seasons in between.
