Sophia Gawel
Trustee
Sophia earned her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College. Currently, she is the Math Paraprofessional at the Waits River Valley School. Previously, she worked at LISTEN Community Services, where she helped community members meet their critical needs — from healthcare to housing. When not exploring the Upper Valley’s many libraries and book stores, Sophia serves as the Bradford Town Health Officer and as a member of the Vermont State Health Assessment & Improvement Plan Committee. She also volunteers with the Mentoring Project of the Upper Valley and WISE. Sophia lives her life in memory of her brother Sam.

At this time, we DO NOT have opportunities available for individuals without clinical licensure. In order to be a clinical volunteer, we require Vermont licensure. Volunteer roles are based on current needs and may change as new opportunities arise.
