Dr. Toby Kravitz, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Kravitz graduated from the University of Vermont in 1979 and the Temple University School of Dentistry in 1983. He practiced as an associate dentist for several area practices from 1984 to 1989, taking time off to be a volunteer dentist for the United States Peace Corps in 1986-87. He started his own practice in Norwich, VT in 1989, but continued his volunteer work being on the original steering committee for the Red Logan Dental Clinic where he continues to volunteer regularly. He was the co-chair for COHI, a Community Oral Health Initiative convened to address the dental access problems in the Upper Valley.
He was part of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center’s Dental Staff from 1996 to 2011 and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the ADA, VSDS, and the AGD where he achieved his Fellowship. Additionally, Dr. Kravitz has participated in many hours of post-graduate dental education and has completed 5 continuums at the prestigious Pankey Institute. Additionally, he has attended many workshops at Spear Education.
He sold his dental practice and retired in 2020. In March 2022 Gov. Scott appointed him to the VT State Board of Dental Examiners for a five-year term. In September 2022, he became a Member Examiner for CDCA-WREB-CITA, administering the ADEX exam for dental licensure throughout the country. Dr. Kravitz lives in Hartford, VT with Jennifer, his wife of 42 years, where they raised their four children, Bethany, Alycia, Julia, and Avery.
