RICK ADAMS

Rick Adams is a communications consultant, focusing on communications strategy, leadership communications, issues management, media relations, and crisis communications for non-profit organizations. He has spoken at conferences nationally on a range of internal and external communications issues. Rick joins the Good Neighbor Health Clinic Board after nearly 40 years in healthcare and higher education, most recently at Dartmouth Health, New Hampshire’s largest health care system and, before that, at Dartmouth College.
Early in his career, he was an award-winning broadcast journalist at radio and television stations in New Hampshire and Vermont, and spent 20 years as radio play-by-play announcer for Dartmouth College football. A long-time resident of the Upper Valley, he has served on the Hartford Zoning Board, and was a member of the board of United Way of the Upper Valley. He has also served as a youth sports and high school football coach in Hartford. Rick is a 1979 graduate of Lyndon State College in Vermont, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications.
