Heather grew up in Lyme and attended the University of New Hampshire for undergraduate study. She then pursued a Master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University (online) while working full-time at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Heather now works as a Health Science Specialist at the National Center for PTSD. There she disseminates information about PTSD, PTSD treatment and assessments to Veterans, non-Veterans and providers. Additionally, Heather manages social media efforts for the National Center for PTSD and works on the marketing team, managing projects. Heather also runs her small business Cottonwood Projects and volunteers for the Upper Valley Aquatic Center’s Swim Council Board. When not working or volunteering, Heather enjoys cooking, motorcycling, camping, and enjoying Mascoma Lake where she lives with her significant other and their hound dog.
